Sumit Kumar

Sumit Kumar's long track record of professional and academic achievement forms the foundation of the philosophy underpinning Stone Lake Wealth Management.  His 13-year career as a professional bond trader has encompassed some of the most extraordinary market conditions since the Great Depression.  He joined Wall Street in the aftermath of the tech crash and 9-11 terrorist attacks and witnessed the housing boom and its spectacular bust.  His career continued through the tumultuous markets afterwards as banks failed and the US government implemented massive and unconventional fiscal and monetary policy to stabilize the economy.  It is this experience that has given Sumit an appreciation for risk management and investment discipline.  For full details about Sumit's career click on the Linkedin icon below.

Stone Lake Wealth Management

Financial advisors at large brokerage houses or banks are often sales people with asset gathering and sales quotas.  Such a compensation structure naturally forces them to consider commissions generated with every decision they make about your investments.  A fee only wealth management practice is the only way that the advisor’s incentives are fully aligned with your best interests, making it the only business model Stone Lake Wealth Management will employ.   We are paid by our clients for the service we provide, not by asset management companies or brokerage firms for sales revenue we generate.
